Xylem is hiring a Regional Director, Sales and Services!

The Regional Director, Sales and Services is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving sales performance, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service for our Water and Solutions Services (WSS), Dewatering business grouping. This position manages the entire sales management system, including the development and implementation of sales policies, procedures, and best practices to support business objectives. Success in this role requires strong leadership and team management capabilities, deep knowledge of sales operations, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee all aspects of rental and sales activities to achieve the budgeted sales margins, income and expense goals.
  • Manage labor, maintenance and repair costs while maintaining product quality
  • Maintain and develop effective workflows and systems to reach financial and operational excellence.
  • Execute continuous improvement opportunities using six sigma and lean methodologies to achieve business goals.
  • Coordinate equipment requirements to maintain an inventory adequate for efficient operation, excellent customer service and maximum utilization.
  • Develop strategies for increasing capacity within a minimum of two service centers to support service and repair on Xylem product lines.
  • Ensure compliance of local, state and federal laws and regulation (EPA, OSHA, DOT, ADA and EEOC).
  • Satisfy customer, corporate and contractual reporting requirements and needs
  • Performance management; Coach and develop team and encourage the culture modeling Xylem's Core Values.
  • Ensure the maintenance of a hazard-free work environment and safe operations; Serve as a role model.
  • Travel to branches and customers within region (CA, OR, NV, WA, ID) is required. Estimated travel 50%.

  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's in Business, Marketing, or related field, with at least 5 years sales management / sales operations experience, with at least 2 years experience as a people manager or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
  • Strong technical skills with proficiency in sales tools and software (e.g., SalesForce, CRM systems)
  • Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies and plans
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively.
  • A strategic thinker with a test and learn approach to marketing efforts and process improvements.
  • Resource Allocation : Allocate personnel, tools, and other resources efficiently to achieve project goals. Balance competing priorities and adapt as needed.
  • End-to-end Project Management : Lead improvement projects from initiation to completion. Monitor progress, address challenges, and ensure timely delivery of measurable results.
  • Salary :

    The salary for this role ranges from $140,000 to $165,000 annually, plus bonus and company vehicle. The overall compensation package will be decided on several factors including experience, education, position level and market analysis.
