Signal & Strand is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A to support enterprise-level financial planning, reporting, and analysis. This role plays a meaningful part in forecasting, budgeting, month-end analysis, and strategic financial support for multiple business functions.
The Senior Financial Analyst will partner closely with cross-functional teams, delivering insights that guide business decisions while ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and alignment with corporate objectives. The ideal candidate combines analytical rigor with strong business partnering skills and thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
Key Areas of Responsibility 1. Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning
Support the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning deliverables.
Collaborate with department leaders to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and ensure accuracy across financial plans.
Maintain models and planning tools that support scenario analysis and proactive decision-making.
2. Financial Analysis & Reporting
Prepare monthly and quarterly variance analyses, including trend evaluations and performance commentary.
Build analytical models to assess revenue, expenses, margins, capital investments, and business initiatives.
Identify risks and opportunities and support recommendations for improving financial outcomes.
3. Business Partnering & Strategic Support
Serve as a financial resource to business leaders, providing insight, reporting, and guidance for key initiatives.
Review business cases, capital project proposals, and budget exception requests.
Support post-investment analysis for major events, projects, and strategic initiatives.
4. Presentations & Executive Deliverables
Assist in creating polished financial presentations for leadership, committees, and executive forums.
Translate financial findings into clear narratives that support strategic and operational priorities.
Ensure reporting packages and deliverables are accurate, timely, and actionable.
5. Systems, Tools & Process Support
Contribute to enhancements of FP&A tools, reporting systems, and financial processes.
Provide training or guidance to teams using financial systems or planning tools.
Support ad hoc analysis, special projects, and "high-touch" initiatives as needed.
What You Bring to the Table Skills & Competencies
Strong foundation in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and analytical problem-solving.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong working knowledge of other MS Office tools.
Ability to build and maintain financial models used for planning, analysis, and scenario simulation.
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to synthesize complex financial data.
Clear, confident communication skills—both written and verbal.
Collaborative, team-oriented style with a commitment to partnership and excellence.
Experience
5+ years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, accounting, or financial consulting.
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Familiarity with financial modeling practices and financial reporting systems.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience presenting financial concepts to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Customer-oriented approach with strong relationship-building skills.
Working knowledge of OneStream or similar financial planning / reporting applications.
Experience with Microsoft Access or complementary analytical tools.

Base Compensation Range
$100,000—$125,000 USD
