Security Officer - Dispatch Desk Tech / Media

As a Security Officer - Dispatch Desk Tech / Media in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch professional with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities to help maintain a secure environment. You will communicate with team members, support access control, and provide excellent customer service, all while utilizing technology to manage daily operations. Pay Rate : $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sat 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sun 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing dispatch protocols and communication systems.
  • Monitor and coordinate security-related activities across the location, maintaining clear and accurate communications with on-site personnel and external responders.
  • Document and report incidents, dispatch activity, and other relevant information in accordance with established protocols.
  • Use technology platforms to track, dispatch, and provide updates on security-related events and personnel movements.
  • Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activity by maintaining awareness of all monitored areas.
  • Support Allied Universal team members and client staff by providing timely information and assistance during routine and emergency situations.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
