Advance the Next Generation of Autonomous Fulfillment — Data Collection Operator

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a next-generation fulfillment solutions leader redefining efficiency in e-commerce logistics. We are hiring a Data Collection Operator to directly support the performance, accuracy, and continuous improvement of advanced robotic systems powering modern warehouse operations.

Schedule : Monday – Friday | 9 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM

Pay Rate : 22–23 per hour (starting range)

Location : San Francisco, CA

Role Summary

As a Data Collection Operator, you will play a hands-on role in training and improving autonomous robotic systems used in modern fulfillment centers. By teleoperating robots, capturing high-quality data, and documenting system performance, you directly contribute to the development of AI models that power fully autonomous warehouse operations. Your precision and consistency help ensure these systems perform reliably at scale.

What You’ll Do

Teleoperate robotic systems to perform real-world warehouse tasks with accuracy and consistency

Collect, label, organize, and validate high-quality datasets used to train AI models

Monitor robot behavior and document issues, edge cases, and failure modes for engineering review

Provide detailed feedback to engineering and research teams on robot performance and task complexity

Follow structured workflows, safety protocols, and task requirements at all times

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe data collection workspace

Required Qualifications

2–3 years of warehouse or production experience

Exceptional attention to detail and strong manual dexterity

Ability to stand, move, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods

Comfort following structured procedures and safety guidelines

Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent hands-on experience

Experience with robotics, teleoperation, or hardware-focused environments

Familiarity with data annotation or labeling tools

Understanding of warehouse, lab, or industrial safety practices

Basic computer proficiency, including comfort with technical tools or interfaces

Pay Details : 22.00 to 23.00 per hour
