Title : Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Reports to : Sr. Director of Telehealth

Department / Location : Virtual IOP - Massachusetts. This is a fully remote position however candidates must be licensed in MA to be eligible.

FLSA Status : Non Exempt / 1099 contractor

Schedule : Evening Program 4 : 00pm-8 : 00pm M, W, Th (12 hours clinical time + 1-hour rounds + 1 hour supervision = minimum 14 hours per week). MUST BE BILINGUAL SPANISH & ENGLISH TO COVER THE EVENING PROGRAM.

Role Summary :

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and therapeutic support to individuals enrolled in our PHP and IOP programs. You will collaborate with other clinicians, including psychiatrists, therapists, to provide a holistic approach to patient care.

Role Responsibilities :

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, including intake assessments, for patients in the PHP / IOP programs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on psychiatric assessment findings.
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects.
• Provide ongoing medication management and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Work closely with therapists, social workers, and other team members to coordinate care for patients.
• Provide crisis intervention and support when needed, particularly in a PHP / IOP setting.
• Participate in clinical team meetings, case reviews, and treatment planning discussions.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment in accordance with agency policies and regulatory requirements.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication management.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards for the delivery of psychiatric services.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based practices and advancements in psychiatric care.

Pay Range

$95—$115 USD
