About the role :

The Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for supervising leading and providing technical direction to a group of technicians within the Nitinol Shape Memory (NSM) business unit. He / she / they will be responsible for ensuring proper support for manufacturing processes including : technician staffing levels within a sub-section of the manufacturing floor proper escalation of issues and challenges with the engineering team and mentorship of individuals through equipment challenges.

Your responsibilities will include :

• Provide guidance and development for their team to attain career goals motivate individuals to achieve results and recruit and maintain a high quality technician team within NSM.
• Ensure policies and processes are followed.
• Work with Engineering leadership to establish their teams goals and objectives and plan for resourcing and hiring needs.
• Maintain and enhance cross-functional team relationships.
• Implement methods of connecting engaging and aligning their team members to each other and to the broader business unit.
• Prioritize and manage execution of multiple problem solving efforts and daily tasks alongside their team.
• Successfully complete manufacturing engineering project work as part of our Value Improvement Process (VIP) business continuity and capacity initiatives and efficiency improvement objectives.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) see vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training pertinent education including licensure and certifications among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly) non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g. any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for exempt non-sales roles may also include variable compensation i.e. annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
