CDL Driver/Ready Mix Driver

Job Description
The Ready Mix Driver is responsible for safely operating a concrete mixer truck to deliver ready-mix concrete to construction sites. This includes loading, transporting, and efficiently discharging concrete while maintaining excellent communication with dispatch and customers.

• Safely operate a ready-mix concrete truck in compliance with DOT regulations
• Load and unload concrete materials at plants and job sites
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment
• Adjust truck controls to maintain proper mix and slump during delivery
• Provide exceptional customer service at delivery sites
• Maintain accurate delivery tickets and documentation
• Clean mixer drum and truck after each load
• Report mechanical issues and follow company safety procedures
• Work with dispatch to meet daily delivery schedule

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A or B with air brake endorsement required
• Clean driving record (MVR) and ability to pass a DOT physical & drug screen
• Experience operating a mixer truck preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor environments
• Strong focus on safety and customer service
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work overtime or Saturdays as needed
