Forklift Operator

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Forklift Operator to support our warehouse operation. In this role, you will safely operate a forklift to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in the facility. You are responsible for following safety regulations, keeping accurate inventory records, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The core hours for this position are 2 : 30PM-11 : 00PM, M-F with some flexibility to troubleshoot issues on the weekends.

Essential Functions :

• Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
• Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines
• Transport finished jobs or goods into correct areas
• Move pallets of goods for jobs in process to appropriate area as needed
• Place finished goods which are on a designated pallet to the correct location
• Accurately complete forklift operator's checklist
• Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
• Confer with managers to ensure coordination of other production lines
• Occasionally conducts a physical inventory of all corrugated materials by performing cycle counts
• Perform inventory audits on a daily basis or as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work area by moving empty pallets to a designated area, and by keeping neat, orderly and safe stacks of stock in storage areas
• Maintain accurate location of stock in storage area by paperwork and computer
• Adhere to daily production schedule, and make recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality, delivery and service goals
• Assist other forklift operators as necessary
• Complete necessary reports and paperwork in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to : Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Safety Data, Quality Data
• Assist supervisors on the production floor to maintain a safe work environment
• Perform all functions accurately as required in our WMS system
• Perform other duties as assigned by management / supervisors
• The anticipated hourly range for the position is $16.50-$22.00, depending on experience and qualifications.
• This position is also eligible for a success share bonus and benefits package
