AlliedTravelCareers is working with Acruex Health to find a qualified Polysomnographic / Sleep Tech in Greenville, South Carolina, 29605!

Pay Rate : $45.00 - $50.00 / Hourly.

Summary : A Polysomnographer (Sleep Technician) is a trained healthcare professional who conducts overnight and daytime sleep studies to diagnose sleep disorders such as sleep apnea, narcolepsy, periodic limb movement disorder, and parasomnias. This role involves monitoring patients, collecting physiological data, and ensuring high-quality recordings using specialized sleep lab equipment. Strong technical skills, patient care abilities, and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities :

• Set up and calibrate PSG (polysomnography) equipment prior to patient arrival.
• Prepare patients for sleep studies by applying EEG, EOG, EMG, ECG, airflow, respiratory effort, and oximetry sensors.
• Monitor and observe patients throughout overnight studies, ensuring accurate data collection.
• Utilize proper scoring techniques and identify sleep stages, respiratory events, limb movements, and cardiac abnormalities.
