Job Description
The Systems Analyst will be a member of the TacMobile software integration team, using Windows, Linux, and cybersecurity expertise to produce software builds for the fleet.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Creates easily installable security update packages for a wide variety of operating systems
- Creates updated software baselines
- Develops innovative scripting and automation solutions for software deployments
- Installs and configures COTS / GOTS products
- Performs routine cybersecurity analysis to maintain a hardened security posture
- Assists in the creation and maintenance of supporting documentation including, System Version Documents (SVD), System Administration Manuals (SAM), Software Build Plans and Load Plan / Installation Procedures (IP)
Requirements
MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS :
Five (5) years of experience in Windows administration to include : Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems, experience in Windows Server administration to include : Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems / Equipment Support, Test and Evaluation, and Cybersecurity equipment Support, Test and Evaluation, and CybersecurityThree (3) years of experience in Linux administration to include : Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems, experience in Linux administration to include : Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems / Equipment Support, Test and Evaluation, and Cybersecurity equipment Support, Test and Evaluation, and CybersecurityThree (3) years of technical experience in VMware configuration and supportPossess hands-on technical experience configuring, securing, and troubleshooting operating system services and applicationsPrior experience creating and deploying system images, configurations, and updatesPossess strong scripting language knowledgeDirect experience with :Windows and Linux based systems administration / configuration / installationActive Directory / Group Policy configurationVMware vSphere and / or Horizon administration / configuration experienceImaging TechnologiesPowerShell, bash or other scripting experiencePKI configuration and troubleshooting experienceNAS / vSAN Storage configuration and troubleshooting experienceUnderstanding of IAVA, STIGs, ACAS and SCAP and applying system security configurationsBoth written and verbal communications skills are requiredMust be able to work well in a team environmentMust be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervisionMust have a CompTIA Security + CE certification or be willing to obtain within 6 months of startingDESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS :
