Windshield Technician / Auto Glass Repair – Toyota of Pharr

Toyota of Pharr is seeking a reliable and experienced Windshield Technician to join our service team. This position is responsible for the repair and replacement of windshields and other automotive glass components, ensuring high-quality workmanship and safety standards are consistently met.

Job Responsibilities

• Assess damage to windshields and determine appropriate repair or replacement
• Remove broken glass safely and prepare vehicles for new glass installation
• Install windshields and other automotive glass components using proper tools and techniques
• Apply adhesives, moldings, and seals to ensure proper fit and weatherproofing
• Maintain clear documentation of repairs, parts used, and services completed
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding work status and recommendations
• Adhere to all dealership safety protocols and industry standards
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
• Participate in ongoing training and stay informed about industry best practices

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
