Baltimore County is hiring for a Non-Merit position with a salary range of $22.29 to $31.98 hourly. The job location is Towson, MD.
The position is within the Department of Health and Human Services, specifically in the Communicable Disease and Environmental Health division. This is a non-merit vacancy, meaning it is not part of the Baltimore County Government Classification and Compensation Plan. Qualifications
Required Qualifications :
Possession of a high school diploma or an appropriate equivalent plus two years' experience, under supervision, rendering direct medical patient care. (Additional qualifying education in nursing or a related field may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.)

Licenses and Certificates :
Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant by the Maryland Board of Nursing is required at the time of appointment. Possession of a valid driver's license equivalent to a noncommercial, class C Maryland driver's license is required at the time of appointment.
Proof of Licenses, Certifications and Education Applicants are required to submit proof of licenses, certifications and education beyond high school to meet the required and preferred qualifications of the position. Diplomas or transcript must show the applicant's major field of study. Copies and unofficial transcripts are acceptable. Proof of licenses, certifications, and / or education must be submitted with each application.

Physical and Environmental Conditions :
The work of this classification may include the performance of physical activities such as walking, standing, and lifting, the operation of medical equipment and instruments, and travel throughout the County. Duties may expose incumbents to various bio-medical hazards.
