Supervisor : Facilities Director
Summary :
Provides skilled maintenance and repair of church facilities and equipment. Ensures the building systems are functional, safe, and well-maintained. Supports preventative maintenance and assists with event and ministry facility needs.
Responsibilities :
- Perform general maintenance and repair on facilities, equipment, and grounds.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems (within skill scope).
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks and contribute to ongoing maintenance schedules.
- Assist with set-up / tear-down for ministry events when needed.
- Support custodial staff with facility-related needs requiring repair.
- Maintain tools, parts, and maintenance supplies inventory.
- Identify and report larger facility issues requiring outside contractors.
- Provide routine grounds upkeep support (snow removal, landscaping tasks, exterior upkeep).
- Ensure safe work practices and compliance with OSHA standards.
Requirements :
Experience in building maintenance, repair, or trades (HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, electrical preferred).Ability to use tools and equipment safely and effectively.Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Team-oriented, willing to assist across facilities needs.Physical ability to perform repair and maintenance tasks.Growing relationship with Jesus Christ; alignment with PCC beliefs.Communication skills to work with volunteers.Ability to incorporate software programs to facilitate team needs.
