A company is looking for a Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Specialist - 2nd Level Reviewer - Remote.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive secondary clinical chart reviews to identify documentation clarification and coding opportunities
Collaborate with various healthcare professionals to ensure documentation meets clinical and regulatory standards
Document and communicate findings of secondary reviews to enhance understanding of clinical documentation integrity goals
Required Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with BSN, ADN, or equivalent medical degree
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse, MD, or equivalent, or credentialed Medical Coder through AHIMA
4-6 years of relevant experience in clinical documentation or inpatient coding quality review
Strong understanding of disease processes, clinical indications, and documentation requirements
Must maintain credentials while employed
