Immigration Law Enforcement Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Capgemini Government Solutions is seeking an experienced Immigration Law Enforcement SME to support DHS Immigration missions. This role requires deep subject matter expertise in enforcement operations, interagency collaboration, policy development, stakeholder engagement, and program oversight. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading large-scale law enforcement initiatives and collaborating across federal, state, and local agencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert on law enforcement operations, investigative procedures, policing tactics, and related policy issues.
• Provide expertise to inform program development, system design, or policy formulation, particularly in support of new federal directives in law enforcement programs. Detailed experience in operations, policy, process, data, and relevant systems.
• Review, analyze, and provide recommendations on law enforcement data, trends, and performance metrics.
• Facilitate interagency collaboration, partner organizations, and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Deep network of federal, state, and local law enforcement partners to facilitate discussions with across the immigration law enforcement and related domains.
• Support training design and delivery for law enforcement personnel and partner agencies.
• Contribute to the creation and refinement of standard operating procedures (SOPs), field manuals, and best practices.
• Develop critical success performance measures and supporting metrics.
• Evaluate and validate technologies, tools, and methodologies used in law enforcement and public safety operations.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and briefings for senior management or agency officials.
• Apply Capgemini service offerings to law enforcement priorities.
• Support client teams as needed.
• Candidate must be able to work outside regular business hours to include weekends, as needed.

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $110K-$150k.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical / dental / vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
