Caregiver - 12 Hour Shifts

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Caregiver to join our team in Taylor, TX.

This is a skilled position available at $16 / hr. Weekends are required.

You will be responsible for providing non-medical assistance to an elderly individual in their own home. You must have excellent communication skills, a commitment to providing quality in home care, and be proactive. Knowledge and experience with hands-on personal care is required. Must have experience with Alzheimer's. Male caregiver's welcome!

Day shifts from between the hours of 8am-8pm are available, including some overnights so apply today!

Responsibilities :

Assist with all activities of daily living (ADL's), such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.

Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment in client's home.

Assist with meal preparation.

Monitor health conditions and report changes.

Preform other basic caregiving services.

Qualifications

Knowledge and experience with all activities of daily living (ADL's)

Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting

Comfortable working around smoking clients

Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Pass background check & non-THC drug screen

Requirements

Alzheimer's and Dementia care experience

Gait belt experience

Hospice experience

Minimum 1-year hands on Caregiving experience
