Responsibilities

Ascension is seeking an internal medicine-trained and board certified physician to provide comprehensive care to patients before and after surgical procedures. You will provide preoperative consultation in a clinic-based setting and postoperative management in a hospital setting, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other health care professionals, implementing practice guidelines to enhance quality of care and patient safety in this perioperative time frame.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration :

Required Credential(s) :

Physician MD / DO credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. KY License also required if working in a Kentucky facility.

Education :

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
