🌙 Night Shift | Locum PA / CNP | Through March 2026 | Travel Covered

Step into one of Ohio’s premier Level I Trauma & Comprehensive Stroke Centers and deliver high-acuity Neuro ICU care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This nighttime locum assignment offers flexible block scheduling , excellent support, and full travel coverage.

🩺 Position Overview

A top-tier trauma center is seeking a Locum Advanced Practice Provider (PA or CNP) to provide Neuro Critical Care coverage starting late October / early November and continuing through February / March 2026 .

You’ll manage complex stroke patients, respond to neurosurgical consults, and perform procedures independently at night . You’ll also work alongside three experienced Advanced Practice Providers , with neurointensivists available by phone for backup.

🕒 Shift Details

🌙 12-hour Nights : 6 PM – 6 AM

📆 Schedule Options :

7 on / 7 off

OR alternating 4 shifts one week / 3 shifts the next

🏥 Inpatient Only – No call

Start Date : Late October / Early November

🧠 Clinical Snapshot

Avg. Neuro ICU Census : ~10 patients

Neurosurgical Consults : ~5 per night

Trauma Involvement : ~40%

EMR : EPIC

Facility : Level I Trauma Center + Comprehensive Stroke Center

No onsite neurologists during shifts (neurointensivist phone support available)

Onsite labs & imaging

✅ Requirements

Board-Certified PA or CNP

Active Ohio License (no exceptions)

Clean background for credentialing

BLS & ACLS required

ENLS highly preferred

Neuro ICU experience required

Ability to work confidently & independently in high-acuity settings

Must be available for late Oct / early Nov start
