MINIMUM 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE OPERATING A SIT-DOWN FORKLIFT

Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator  for a company that produces fruit juices and teas in the city of Buena Park, CA.

Schedule : Monday- Friday  11 : 00 PM TO 7 : 00 AM

Requirements of a Forklift Operator :

  • Minimum 1-year experience operating a sit-down forklift
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must pass background, drug screen, and E-verify
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
  • Lift up to 40lbs
  • Prior experience in roles such as Material Handler, Warehouse Forklift Operator, Shipping and Receiving, and Freight Handler are a plus!

    • Responsibilities of a Forklift Operator :

  • Use Bill of Material to supply the indicated material to the production line
  • Make sure that the pallets of finish product are properly wrapped, labeled, and have a barcode label
  • Load outbound trailers making sure that the trailer locking device is used at all times
  • Unload incoming materials and check that the received quantity matches the quantity on the bill of lading
  • Check and verify raw materials received are not defected or damaged, and reports any damages to supervisor
  • Ensure that all packing material is organized, labeled, and wrapped properly by the end of the shift
