About the Job

The Department of Dermatology, University of Minnesota Medical School, and University of Minnesota Physicians are seeking a Medical Dermatologist to join our Dermatology practice in Minneapolis-Saint Paul. Candidate must have graduated from an ACGME accredited Dermatology residency and be ABD board eligible or board certified.

• The Department of Dermatology is committed to providing excellent patient care, conducting investigational research, and training the next generation of dermatologists. The Department trains 3 fellows (Derm Surgery, Peds Derm, Clinical Research)and 22 residents, (10 in the Medical Dermatology program and 12 in the Categorical program) each year.
• We have world-renowned clinical programs and pioneering clinical trials. We are dedicated to improving dermatological care not only for today but for the future.
• Robert Dellavalle MD, PhD, MSPH, Head of the Department of Dermatology, leads our team of 17 full-time faculty members and several adjunct and volunteer faculty covering all sub-specialties of dermatology.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range : This role is dually employed by the University of Minnesota and University of Minnesota Physicians. Salary at the University of Minnesota is dependent upon academic effort of the person hired, and begins at $52,000. Clinical salary, aligned with clinical effort, is provided through University of Minnesota Physicians. Total salary will be in the range of $405,000 Total salary is competitive with market and based on AAMC salary benchmarks.
