Job Description

As a Batch Process Technician (Mixing), you will be responsible for ensuring the precise mixing and blending of ingredients to meet product specifications. You will play a crucial role in maintaining product quality and compliance with standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Read and analyze batch records to determine product specifications.
• Weigh or verify ingredient weights using metric measures and balance scales.
• Record operational and production data on specified forms, labels, in logbooks, and update room status signs.
• Mix or blend ingredients by starting and stopping machines as per specified times or product qualities.
• Unload mixtures into containers for further processing.
• Package, seal, and properly label materials for the next stage of processing or restocking.
• Transfer materials, supplies, and products between work areas using moving equipment and hand tools.
• Clean and sterilize equipment and tools as specified.
• Comply with company SOPs.
• Examine materials to identify problems and report to management or Quality Assurance.
• Collect samples of materials or products for quality testing.
• Report to work regularly and on time.
• Perform duties safely and report unsafe conditions or actions.
• Assist in other duties as needed and directed.

Work Environment

Work in an FDA-regulated manufacturing facility where personal protective equipment may be required. The environment includes exposure to noise, airborne particles, and allergens. The role involves working at heights and completing tasks within an allotted time, which may create a sense of time pressure.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50 / hr.
