About the Role
Compass Health is seeking a Program Supervisor to provide clinical and administrative leadership for our Outpatient clinic in Smokey Point. This role oversees day-to-day service delivery, supervises staff, ensures regulatory compliance, and collaborates with community partners to support children and families receiving behavioral health services.
The Program Supervisor also serves as back-up to the Program Manager, provides crisis support when needed, and helps ensure high-quality, recovery-oriented care across the program.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and administrative supervision to assigned staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Ensure services are delivered in compliance with organizational policies, payer requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accessible, non-discriminatory service delivery that supports client engagement.
- Develop individualized training plans for new staff and conduct annual performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with the Program Manager to maintain building, health, fire, and safety standards.
- Oversee program business functions including billing, documentation, and data management.
- Foster positive working relationships with other Compass Health programs and community partners.
- Provide crisis intervention, consultation, and coverage for staff, including Program Manager back-up as needed.
- Carry a clinical caseload during staff vacancies or special circumstances, as needed.
- Coordinate services with health plans, hospitals, courts, law enforcement, and community organizations.
- Serve as a clinical resource by sharing expertise in Evidence-Based Practices and local resources.
- Conduct clinical assessments as needed.
- Participate in supervision, meetings, committees, and work groups.
- Remain compliant with all required trainings and certifications.
✅ What You Bring
MA / MS / MSW degree in a Behavioral Science-related field.Current Washington State individual licensure in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling required.Qualifies as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) per WAC.Meets requirements for Mental Health Specialist designation (preferred).Minimum 2 years of direct clinical experience serving children and families.Experience with treatment planning, therapy (individual / group), case management, and crisis stabilization.Demonstrated knowledge of Evidence-Based Practices or willingness to learn.Washington State Approved Supervisor Training (required prior to providing supervision).Valid Washington State Driver's License, vehicle, and appropriate insurance (if applicable).Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong administrative, leadership, and clinical supervision skills.Extensive knowledge of child and family behavioral health treatment.Ability to work effectively with individuals with complex, multi-system needs.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with electronic medical record systems.Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check (may include DSHS search).What We Offer

Physical Demands / Work Environment
The employee will work in a clinical office environment and may provide outreach to community settings such as client homes, hospitals, medical facilities, schools, jails, or community organizations. Duties may include occasional lifting and / or moving up to 20 pounds and require regular sitting, standing, walking, talking, and close vision. Noise level is usually moderate.
