Position Summary :
The Assessment Director provides strategic leadership for a comprehensive, institution-wide assessment program that demonstrates educational effectiveness and supports continuous improvement. This role oversees the design, implementation, and evaluation of academic and administrative program reviews, ensuring alignment with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements. The Director leads the coordinated measurement of student learning outcomes across all programs and departments, supports faculty and staff development in assessment practices, and collaborates closely with academic leadership to strengthen curricular and co-curricular outcomes. Serving as a key advisor to senior leadership, the Assessment Director prepares and manages complex institutional reports for accrediting bodies and external agencies, oversees course and faculty evaluations, and ensures the secure management and dissemination of sensitive assessment data. Through rigorous data collection, analysis, and reporting, this position plays a critical role in advancing the school's strategic goals and fostering a culture of evidence-based decision-making and continuous improvement.

Minimum Education :
Master's Degree in Nursing Education or equivalent required
Minimum Experience :
4 years of related experience in academic affairs, student affairs, or educational assessment required
Physical Requirements :
Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and / or up to 10 pounds frequently and / or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
Security Sensitive :
This position is a security-sensitive position pursuant to Texas Education Code §51.215 and Texas Government Code §411.094. To the extent that a position requires the holder to research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Texas Business and Commerce Code §117.001(2), the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired for and to continue to be employed in that position.
