The Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) is seeking to hire qualified candidates with the opportunity to work in a dynamic, creative thinking, problem solving environment. This position serves as a Production Operations Controller for the DoIT independently analyzing, scheduling, and performing advanced production control functions, utilizing automated scheduling software such as CA-Scheduler to ensure successful completion. In this role, you will perform library functions, including setup, scheduling, and submission of commands and production jobs to perform moves, purges, deletions, and restorations of production files for systems that are part of the Shared Services Consolidation. Additionally, you will monitor the processing of library and Mobius batch jobs to guarantee execution and successful completion  according to schedule and coordinates the proper handling of special production requests from submission to completion with priorities.
