Housekeeper

A housekeeping job involves cleaning and maintaining spaces like homes, hotels, or offices by performing tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing bathrooms / kitchens, changing linens, and restocking supplies, while also ensuring safety standards, reporting maintenance issues, and sometimes handling laundry or running errands to create a clean, comfortable, and organized environment for residents or guests.

Key Responsibilities

• General Cleaning : Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, dusting furniture, cleaning windows, and polishing surfaces.
• Sanitation : Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms (toilets, showers, sinks) and kitchens (counters, appliances).
• Bedding & Linens : Making beds, changing bed linens, and ensuring fresh towels are available.
• Supply Management : Restocking toiletries, cleaning products, and other consumables; organizing carts.
• Waste Removal : Emptying trash cans and disposing of garbage and recycling.
• Maintenance Reporting : Identifying and reporting any needed repairs or maintenance issues to management.
• Laundry : Washing, ironing, and folding clothes or linens (in some roles).
• Errands / Other : Running errands like grocery shopping or pet care (especially in private homes).
