Staff Accountant / Bookkeeper

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant / Bookkeeper.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare bookkeeping for clients on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

Process client payroll and payroll taxes, including W2 and 1099 forms

Perform general accounting duties, including transaction entry and account reconciliation

Required Qualifications

3+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience

Proficient with accounting software, including QuickBooks and Sage

Experience with multi-state payroll

Ability to learn new systems quickly

Experience in preparing and filing sales tax returns
