About The Position

Job Title : Polysomnographic Sleep Tech

Hours per Shift : 12 Hours (6 : 30 PM - 7 : 00 AM)

Experience : Minimum of 1 year

License : No state license required

Certifications : BLS, RPSGT

Must-Have :

Pediatric experience preferred for ages between 0-18

Experience with Alice 6 software

Ability to score various sleep studies

Experience in both hospital and independent lab settings

Description :

This position is for a Polysomnographic Sleep Tech.

The role involves performing sleep studies for both adults and pediatrics.

You will typically handle a caseload of 1 adult patient and 1 pediatric patient per shift.

The work schedule requires three 12-hour night shifts, primarily from Wednesday to Friday.

The candidate may be required to work on holidays as needed.

No call is required, and weekend work is limited to Sundays if contracted for that shift.

Experience with Epic charting is preferred, along with additional pediatric experience.

You will be expected to monitor and score various sleep studies, including MSLT and PSG scoring.

The work environment includes both adolescents and geriatric patients.

You will collaborate with various interdisciplinary support teams.

There is no requirement for a radiation badge.

Be aware that during hurricane season, all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams.

Travelers should not confirm new assignments during peak months of hurricane activity.

Modules are non-billable and average around 4 hours spent on necessary training prior to starting work.
