Position Overview

A Level I Trauma Center in Kansas City, MO is seeking skilled and dedicated Medical-Surgical Registered Nurses to join a dynamic and diverse care team. This role offers the opportunity to care for patients with medical, surgical, cardiac, neurologic, orthopedic, and nephrology conditions while advancing your clinical expertise in a high-acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments according to standards of care and disease-specific protocols.

• Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

• Provide direct patient care and supervise non-licensed staff within defined scope of practice.

• Deliver patient and family education, supporting emotional needs across varying ages and cultural backgrounds.

Qualifications

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience (recent experience not required)

Education:

• ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program

Licensure & Certifications:

• Active RN license (MO or Compact)

• BLS certification required upon hire
