Job Full Description

Express Employment Professionals of Ames, IA has partnered with a local company located in Boone, IA who is currently seeking an individual with prior experience with Machine Maintenance! The main responsibility in this role is ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.

This is a long-term, full-time position starting at $22.50 / hr, hourly wage is dependent on experience!

Environment :

  • This is a 1st shift schedule, Monday-Friday 8 : 00am - 4 : 30pm (flexible)
  • Candidate must be comfortable working in a smaller production facility and collaborating with various departments

Duties :

  • Fixing machines
  • Assisting around the facility with preventative and routine maintenance
  • Making calls to manufacturers and fabricating replacement parts

    • Skills / Experience Needed :

  • Prior machine maintenance experience.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge
