Full Time Adult Outpatient Psychiatrist Locum Tenens Job in Southern California Starting ASAP WORK SCHEDULE : 4 / 40, 7 : 30am-6pm OR 5 / 40, 8am-4 : 30pm No call! ABOUT THE PROGRAM AND POSITION : Psychiatrist will work at an adult outpatient clinic treating patients with severe and persistent mental illness. Patients are seen for psychiatric medication support and receive group therapy and case management services to support their recovery. Psychiatrists see patients one-on-one and standard appointment duration is 90 minutes for initial medication evaluation, 60 minutes for transfer evaluation and 30 minutes for follow-up. Most clinical documentation is completed in the client's electronic health record, and some outside forms may be completed by hand and scanned into the record. Client utilizes weekly prescriber meetings, monthly all staff meetings, as well as daily communication via Microsoft Teams and Outlook for case consultation and coordination between disciplines.
