Centennial Peaks Hospital is looking for an Inpatient Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)/Physician Assistant (PA) to provide mental health medical care to our patients in a clinical setting under the supervision of a physician. Experience working in the mental health field strongly preferred.

Qualifications

Position Summary

The Nurse Practitioner is required to exercise sound professional judgment while providing mental health care to patients in an inpatient setting. Patient assessment, diagnosis and therapeutic interventions that will be administered. The PMHNP/NP will work in close collaboration with the Medical Director, Clinical Staff, and Nursing Staff

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistance program
• Current Colorado State NP/PA license with prescriptive authority, including DEA licensure as required by the State.
• Prefer a minimum of five (5) years of experience in an inpatient setting working in behavioral health preferred.
• Board eligible or Board certified as a Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistance
