Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Processor responsible for accurately handling specimens and data entry. This role involves identifying proper containers for test types, directing specimens through the lab, and entering patient information into the laboratory information system.
Key Responsibilities
- Correctly identify proper tubes and containers for each test type
- Accessions, labels, and directs specimens through the lab
- Accurately enter all patient demographics, test codes & physician information from the requisition into Antrim (Laboratory Information System)
- Discards old specimens by date received
