Job Description

Job Title : Monitor Tech / EKG Tech

Location : Jamaica, NY 11432

Start Date : December 15, 2025

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Monitor Tech / EKG Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Shift & Schedule

  • Shift : 3 : 00 PM – 11 : 30 PM
  • Hours per week : 40
  • Hours per day : 8
  • Days per week : 5

Pay Rate

  • $25 – $27 per hour (based on experience)

    • Requirements

  • AHA BLS Certification – Required
  • EKG Certification – Required
  • Minimum 1 year of acute care experience
  • Must be proficient in :
  • Monitoring vital signs
  • Cardiac rhythm interpretation
  • Reporting abnormal findings promptly

    • Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor patients’ cardiac rhythms and report any changes or abnormalities
  • Perform EKGs as ordered
  • Document findings accurately in the system
  • Communicate effectively with nursing and medical staff
  • Maintain patient safety and confidentiality at all times
