The Inside Sales Representative engages with prospects and customers in key markets to match their business needs with CCOA's Out of Home Advertising solutions. This role works in a high-volume environment and is pivotal in developing new business through lead activation and following up and following through on account.
Responsibilities include sourcing new sales opportunities by following up on assigned leads, prospecting, and cold calling. The role involves identifying and engaging with prospective customers to introduce CCOA's advertising solutions by phone, email, and social media. It also requires understanding prospect's buying points and developing a value proposition specific to the customer's needs and goals. The Inside Sales Representative conducts client needs analysis and negotiates directly with local and regional customers. Achieving monthly activity and sales quotas to drive success, forecasting sales activity and revenue achievement through proper use of sales tools to consistently hit monthly and yearly budget goals, leading sales presentations using full-functionality of online meeting tools, identifying opportunities with new customers reaching out to inquire about CCOA's products and services, and accurately inputting activity into CRM (Salesforce) in order to maintain pipeline and efficiently follow up with prospects and customers are also part of the role.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience. Minimum five (5) years sales experience (inside sales preferred) selling advertising or related products or services, on quota, and in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Minimum 1-2 years sales management experience preferred. Experience with sales automation and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
Skills include being highly self-directed and comfortable in an in office or remote environment. Skilled and effective with using online meeting tools (e.g., Zoom). Proficient in Microsoft software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and social platforms. Has desire and ability to learn and adopt new technology.
Competencies include achievement orientation, client focus, continuous learning, customer value management, fostering communication, and managing the sales process.
Physical demands include the ability to sit and/or stand at a desk for a minimum of 8 hours a day and complete tasks requiring repetitive use of hands. Ability to lift and move items up to 15 pounds. Ability to see written documents and computer screens, and to adjust focus. This job is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment.
