Summary
Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) at Tarrant County Juvenile Services work alongside juvenile justice professionals in a unique, safe, and supportive work environment, while positively impacting the health of youth who often need the most help.
The position requires that LVNs :
Work Schedule : Monday - Friday 7 : 00 to 3 : 00 p.m.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements
NOTE : YOU MUST FILL OUT THE WORK HISTORY and EDUCATION SECTIONS OF APPLICATION TO SHOW YOU HAVE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION AS REQUIRED BY HIRING DEPARTMENT OR BE DISQUALIFIED.
TO APPLY, must have a High School diploma or GED or higher education.
TO APPLY, must have One (1) full-time year of related work experience.
TO APPLY, must have professional LVN training through an accredited program resulting in licensure .
TO APPLY, must hold a current Texas LVN license.
MUST PROVIDE LICENSING AGENCY AND LICENSE NUMBER IN "CERTIFICATES AND LICENSING" SECTION OF THE APPLICATION OR RISK DISQUALIFICATION.
TO APPLY, must have a current and valid driver license and acceptable driving record and proof of liability insurance. Note : A Texas driver license is required to hold the position.
Good knowledge of fundamental nursing concepts, practices, and procedures.
Basic verbal and written communication skills.
Phlebotomy knowledge.
Basic computer skills including ability to use Microsoft windows operating system and Microsoft Office software.
If hired, must provide proof of educational attainment
at New Hire Processing or during the promotional process.
