Academic Tutor (All Subjects – K–12)

Were hiring dependable and motivated Academic Tutors to support students in grades K12 across a range of subjects including math English / ELA science and language learning.

This is an in-person tutoring role with flexible scheduling. Perfect for teachers substitute teachers student teachers education majors or experienced tutors who want to make a difference in students academic success.

Responsibilities

Provide personalized one-on-one tutoring for students in grades K12

Adapt sessions to meet each students individual learning style and goals

Support homework completion test prep and skill development

Encourage confidence motivation and a positive approach to learning

Communicate student progress with families and our office team via session reports

Qualifications

Experience tutoring or teaching students (K12) preferred

Strong knowledge in one or more core subjects (math English science or language learning)

Reliable transportation for in-home sessions in Carlsbad Oceanside and nearby areas

Professional punctual and dependable

• Minimum commitment of 3 months

After-school availability preferred (typically between 37pm)

Bachelors degree or current college enrollment in education or related field preferred
