Engineer OBD PVE

Support Mercedes-Benz AG emissions OBD certification for the North American market. As the final quality gate ensure all CARB OBD functional requirements are met during Production Vehicle Evaluation.

Job Responsibilities :

• Learn and conduct CARB OBD production vehicle evaluation (PVE) activities at MBRDNA in close coordination with our operative certification & relevant RD teams.
• Plan and coordinate resources for testing (vehicle manpower test cells equipment). Generate detailed test plans and schedules with support of the team leader.
• Conduct testing investigate and identify issues firsthand determine root causes and develop countermeasures in a team environment. Working together with PVE team members ensure OBD regulation conformity.
• Analyze data summarize results and prepare reports for internal customers and external regulatory agencies.
• Build upon or newly develop tools and systems for testing and data acquisition to improve quality and efficiency.
