Title : Private Equity Senior Associate / Vice President

Company Summary

A Raleigh-based private equity firm is seeking a Private Equity Senior Associate / Vice President to join its dynamic team. The firm specializes in lower-middle market investments across a diverse range of industries.

This is a unique opportunity to become part of a lean, highly acquisitive team, offering early and significant responsibility, hands‑on deal experience, and exposure to all aspects of the investment process.

Responsibilities

  • Execution of broader market and industry research
  • Financial modeling, valuation analysis, and returns analysis for various investment targets
  • Take point on due diligence processes
  • Monitor existing investment portfolio
  • Assisting the team with operating / portfolio company work

Qualifications

  • 1‑3 years of Investment Banking experience performing M&A with a reputable middle market or lower middle market bank
  • 2‑6 years of Private Equity or buy‑side experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Superior financial analysis, modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills (there will be a modeling test)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and exceptional work ethic
  • Prior experience or interest in sectors such as Financial services, as well as Software and Tech‑enabled services
