About The Role

As Flex's first Head of Brand & Reputation, you'll report directly to the CMO and play a foundational role in shaping Flex's marketing function. You'll craft a brand strategy grounded in consumer insight, bring it to life through a cohesive visual and tonal identity, and define how Flex shows up across every touchpoint expertly leveraging SEO / GEO, reviews, content, PR, social, web, and influencers to reflect our mission and community.

This role blends creativity with rigor : you'll dream big and execute precisely, measuring impact at every turn. As an early marketing leader, you will also build and manage a small, high-performing team, developing talent and instilling operational excellence as you help architect the broader marketing organization.

This is a hybrid position with on-site expectations of 3 days per week in our New York Headquarters or 2 days per week in our San Francisco Hub. For candidates outside of the NY / NJ / SF area, you may be eligible for our relocation assistance program.

What You'll Do

  • Define Flex's brand strategy, anchored in core consumer truths
  • Drive the development and implementation of a cohesive visual and tonal identity
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to embed brand principles in everything we do
  • Actively monitor brand awareness and sentiment, leveraging insights to ensure continued relevance
  • Oversee Flex's online reputation and brand presence across SEO, reviews, website, content, PR, social, influencers
  • Continuously think about how to uplevel the brand, crafting unique and impactful brand activations across channels
  • Build and lead a small team, providing mentorship, clear prioritization, and opportunities for growth
  • Help shape and scale Flex's marketing function, establishing strong processes, tools, and cross-functional ways of working

Key Qualifications

  • 8+ years of brand or marketing leadership experience
  • Experience across both in-house and agency environments preferred
  • Success building a brand strategy and identity system from the ground up
  • Equally creative and analyticalyou anchor every creative idea in a strategic why
  • Versed in the elusive art of measuring brand performanceyou strive to understand the impact of everything you do
  • Demonstrated ability to translate qualitative and quantitative insights into strategy and execution
  • Comfortable building dashboards, defining brand KPIs, and partnering with data / analytics teams to evaluate impact
  • Deeply passionate about our mission and your craft
  • The compensation range for this role will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and Flex's internal leveling guidelines and benchmarks. For working locations in NY / NJ / CA, the base salary pay range will be $200,000-250,000.
