React.js Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior React.js Developer with strong expertise in front-end engineering and deep knowledge of the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) domain. The candidate will be responsible for developing enterprise-grade, scalable applications with modern user interfaces that align with business and regulatory needs in the financial sector.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end applications using React.js and related technologies.

Build and optimize reusable UI components and libraries for enterprise-scale projects.

Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and backend teams to deliver robust solutions in BFSI applications.

Translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications for front-end implementation.

Ensure application performance, responsiveness, and accessibility standards are met.

Integrate with APIs, RESTful services, and microservices architecture.

Implement security best practices in line with BFSI compliance and regulatory standards.

Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership within the front-end team.

Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.

Deliver high-quality, unit-tested, and well-documented code.

Required Skills and Experience

10+ years of professional experience in software development, with at least 6+ years in React.js ecosystem.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React.js, Redux, Hooks, and Context API.

Experience with HTML5, CSS3, SASS / LESS, Bootstrap, Material UI, or other modern UI frameworks.

Solid understanding of BFSI domain applications, including workflows, compliance, data security, and reporting.

Familiarity with performance optimization techniques for large-scale web apps in financial services.

Hands-on experience with CI / CD pipelines, Git, Azure DevOps / Jenkins.

Strong understanding of testing frameworks (Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library).

Experience in integrating front-end applications with cloud environments (Azure / AWS) and databases.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced BFSI environment.

Preferred Skills

Exposure to micro frontends architecture.

Experience with real-time data processing and WebSocket integration.

Familiarity with banking workflows, loan origination systems, trading platforms, or insurance portals.

Knowledge of secure coding practices and regulatory compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, GDPR, SOX, etc.).
