GISData Specialist

AECOM is seeking a GIS / Data Specialist to be based in the Austin TX office.

Under supervision the GIS / Data Specialist will be responsible for supporting a variety of geospatial and data analysis tasks for technology transportation and traffic applications. Join a team of experienced technology solution experts to create innovative solutions applying new and emerging technology to transportation.

This position is expected to begin in September / October 2025.

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to :

• Create and maintain accurate geospatial datasets maps and reports using ArcGIS Online and other GIS software tools and technologies
• Conduct data analysis to support transportation planning design and maintenance projects
• Develop custom GIS applications scripts and tools to improve data quality accessibility and efficiency using ArcGIS Online
• Prepare maps reports and graphics
• Collaborate with project teams consultants and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of GIS data and products
• Prepare and give effective presentations
• Good communication skills and team spirit
• Work in a collaborative fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications : Minimum Requirements

BA / BS 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education
