Seeks and accepts help and direction when necessary Actively participates in team discussions and cooperates with follow through on plans Works collaboratively with others on special projects as assigned Supports overall strategic plan of the organization Ability to adhere to our organization’s core values and commitments Licensed Practical Nurse, New York State Licensed Practical Nurse. Basic Life Support (BLS) current certification. Experience with pediatric nursing in a residential facility setting preferred. Description of general skill set : Professional demeanor; Strong oral and written communication skills, Specific skill set : Able to accept direction of a Registered Nurse. Perform nursing tasks within a framework; Strong medication administration skills. Strong nursing clinical skills : physical / mental / emotional assessment skills to gather measurements / data; collect signs and symptoms for the health care team. Experience with trauma preferred. Ability to adhere to our organization’s core values. Demonstrated emotional stability to cope with human suffering, emergencies, and other stressors. Job Overview of Licensed Practical Nurse
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, administers nursing care to a diverse multicultural injured, convalescent, or disabled pediatric / adult patients; safely administers specific medications to patients.
Schedules Available : Tuesday thru Saturday 11am to 8 : 00pm or Sunday thru Thursday from 1 : 00pm to 10 : 00pm
School Nurse Position : Full Time licensed Practical Nurse School Nurse
The LPN School nurse works on the Orchard School Schedule : Mon-Friday 8 : 15am-3 : 45pm. Vacation Schedule as per Orchard School with approx. 8 weeks for vacation per year. Compensation at 65k Annually
