Job Description

ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Detroit, Michigan.

Job Details : \n

  • Work 12-hour midnight shifts from 6 : 00 PM to 6 : 00 AM

    • \n

  • 40 hours per week with every other weekend required

    • \n

  • Flexible shift options available including 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts

    • \n

  • 13-week assignment duration

    • \n

  • No on-call responsibilities

    • \n

  • High school diploma or GED required

    • \n

  • Required certifications : ARRT (CT) and BLS

    • \n

  • Must maintain required hours of continued medical education

    • \n

  • Perform computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients

    • \n

  • May perform general diagnostic radiology examinations

    • \n

  • Explain examination procedures to patients and prepare them for examinations

    • \n

  • Review clinical data and obtain additional patient medical history as necessary

    • \n

  • Analyze anatomical structure, set up equipment, and perform CT scans

    • \n

  • Administer intravenous contrast media using power injectors

    • \n

  • Monitor patients for possible reactions and provide immediate care if needed

    • \n

  • Assist radiologists in performing complex sterile diagnostic procedures such as biopsies

    • \n

  • Demonstrate radiation protection principles including patient shielding and ALARA techniques

    • \n

  • Complete all PACS and RIS documentation and imaging procedures

    • \n

  • May be exposed to radiation, high-voltage equipment, and potentially contagious patients

    • \n

  • Occasionally lift and move equipment and / or patients exceeding 10 lbs

    • \n

  • Work in Level I Trauma Center environment
