Due to internal promotion, SVN Parke Group is seeking a skilled and motivated Facilities Director / Building Engineer, as a working manager, to join our facilities management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, operation, and repair of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general mechanical systems.

We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced commercial environment.

Responsibilities

Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs of building systems and equipment.

As team leader delegate daily work orders to maintain optimal building operations.

Respond promptly to tenant service requests and resolve issues efficiently.

Maintain logs and records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.

Ensure building operations comply with safety regulations and company standards.

Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance.

Monitor building systems and adjust as necessary to ensure optimal performance.

Perform general building repairs including light carpentry, painting, and plumbing.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; trade school or technical certification preferred.

3+ years of experience in building engineering or facility maintenance.

Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergencies.

EPA Universal Certification is a plus.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
