Position Description :
We are looking for a dedicated and exceptional Chief Operating Officer ( COO ) for our in Home care Agency in Borough Park, NY. This is a full-time, hybrid position, Monday through Friday from 9am- 5pm.
Qualifications of the Chief Operating Officer ( COO ) :
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Proven leadership experience in Home Care, healthcare operations, or a related post-acute setting (LHCSA / CHHA experience highly preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of New York Home Care regulations, Medicaid / Medicare reimbursement, and managed care contracting.
- Dynamic, forward-thinking leader with the ability to balance regulatory compliance with organisational growth.
- Strong operational and administrative expertise, including oversight of staff, systems, and multi-borough operations.
- Track record of success in scaling census, improving quality metrics, and ensuring financial stability.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; adept at motivating teams and building strong relationships with families, patients, and referral partners.
Responsibilities of the Chief Operating Officer ( COO ) :
Provide Leadership & Direction - Lead the Home Care agency with strategic oversight, ensuring operational excellence across all five boroughs.Operational Management - Oversee daily agency functions, including patient services, caregiver scheduling, compliance, and quality assurance.Regulatory Compliance - Ensure adherence to New York State DOH, LHCSA, and CHHA regulations, as well as applicable federal standards.Growth & Expansion - Develop and execute strategies to grow census, strengthen referral networks, and enhance community presence.Team Development - Recruit, train, and mentor leadership and clinical staff while fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.Financial Oversight - Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and allocate resources to maintain sustainability and profitability.Community Engagement - Act as the face of the agency, building strong relationships with patients, families, hospitals, payors, and referral partners.Board & Ownership Reporting - Provide regular updates to ownership / board on agency operations, compliance, growth initiatives, and patient satisfaction.If you're a skilled and experienced Chief Operating Officer ( COO ) looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity at our Home Care Agency, we want YOU
