ALLIED Feather & Down is hiring: Graphic Designer in Montebello

Allied Feather & Down is seeking a graphic designer to work closely with the creative director to assist in all design related activities for print, tradeshow display and packaging.

Allied is the largest supplier of down to the outdoor and apparel industry working with partners such as The North Face, Columbia, Arc’Teryx, Nike, Moncler, Nau, Eddie Bauer and many others. Job Description

ALLIED is looking for a designer who has a penchant for packaging and a strong understanding and creative approach to typography. Allied is a fast paced company in a very active industry. The design and marketing office is expanding so there is a lot of room to grow for the ideal candidate as we continue to build our internal team. It is an extremely creative environment in need of a good all-around multi-tasker.

1. production design work for print and marketing collateral
2. assist in customer communications and marketing with respect to design
3. build and maintaing all assets
4. develop and manage new packaging concepts
5. assist in production of photography and photo shoots and manage photography database
6. maintain calendar of deadlines for all design and marketing material needed for customers
7. assist in the development of tradeshow materials and showroom design
8. assist with point of sale design concepts and help to oversee their execution

An active passion for the outdoors is a plus. We work with very active and creative partner brands and the right candidate should be able to bring a sophisticated level of creative thinking to help position ALLIED as an innovative and highly creative company within both the outdoor and apparel industries.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• creative problem solving skills with ability to push the limits of design and art
• strong typography skills
• illustrator / photoshop / dreamweaver / InDesign / powerpoint
• experience in packaging sourcing a plus
• strong editing / writing skills
• must have Laptop - Mac OS X
• flexible schedule.
