[job_card.job_description]Design, configure, and maintain HIL test environments to validate real‑time embedded control systems. Execute HIL test cases, simulate system behaviors, and analyze real‑time system responses. Collaborate with hardware / software teams to identify defects, diagnose issues, and verify fixes. Support hardware‑software integration, including mapping of I / O signals and interfacing with ECUs. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, or related field. 1+ years of experience in embedded systems development, testing, or validation. Hands‑on experience with GoogleTest (gTest) for C / C++ unit testing. Familiarity with SIL / HIL concepts used for validating control software before real‑world deployment. Understanding of embedded software, control systems, and real‑time behaviors.
Software‑in‑the‑Loop (SIL) Responsibilities
- Develop and execute SIL test cases to validate embedded software functionality in a simulated environment.
- Reuse model‑based test data to evaluate algorithm behavior and ensure alignment with design expectations.
- Run unit tests using GoogleTest for C / C++ code verification (including integration into CI where applicable).
