Machine Translation Quality Engineer

Apples Machine Translation is embedded into several products across the iOS iPadOS macOS and watchOS ecosystems : from Translate App that is used to communicate across different languages to Safari full webpage translation to system-wide translation that allows you to quickly translate any highlighted text into an ever growing list of this role youll be directly responsible for Machine Translations server-side quality. Youll be collaborating closely with operations product engineering and modelling teams in order to come up with the right functional and non-functional test plans for functional along with developing the automation and frameworks to validate our deployments meet the highest standards of quality.

• 5 years of experience in software testing with strong focus on test automation
• Fluency in Python Swift Java or other object-oriented programming languages
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent professional experience
• Experience backend testing using technologies like gRPC Team City JMeter or equivalent
• Experience with developing server and client test automation and frameworks
• Deep understanding of development lifecycles testing methodologies QA processes
• Proven experience in software QA creating test plans for new products and features
• Excellent communication skills are a requirement due to the high level of interaction with engineering teams management and other organizations within Apple
