Olympus Parts Warehouse Manager

This individual will be responsible for the efficient operation of the parts warehouse. Responsibilities include absolute control of warehouse inventory while managing a team of inventory clerks, efficiently moving material from receiving to stocking to issuing to the Production floor and other areas in accordance with documented processes and procedures.
Job Duties
- Manage, lead, develop, and train personnel in all aspects of inventory control and parts warehouse operation.
- Coordinate workflow to ensure an efficient and productive operation that meets the requirements of order fulfillment both internally & externally across all shifts (day, evening & Saturday).
- Ensure timely fulfillment of Parts, Supplies, and Tools & Jigs requests and Parts Sales Orders.
- Coordinate and expedite backorders processing.
- Ensure timely fulfillment of kanban parts locations throughout the shopfloor across during all shifts (day, evening Saturday).
- Direct and prioritize parts warehouse activities to achieve department MBO and daily targets.
- Perform Oracle inventory transactions, Parts Consumption Program, and other applicable repair systems.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams : Parts Inventory Planners, Production, Facilities, SCM, Engineering, & Quality Assurance.
- Develop effective operational and logistical policies and procedures for the parts warehouse department.
- Continuously re-evaluate the parts storage department layout and equipment to improve efficiency.
- Provide support for identifying and implementing such improvements.
- Continuously evaluate and monitor all warehouse equipment for safety and ergonomic-related concerns.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to PPE requirements.
- Provide reports as necessary detailing department performance.
- Having a strong background in maintaining and developing analytical tools using Excel and / or Power Query is essential.
- Support / Manage the cycle counting program by executing timely cycle counting reconciliations and any necessary resolution to areas of weakness that are identified to meet accuracy goals.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
Required :
Minimum of three to five (3-5) years supervisory-related operational experience in the areas of warehouse operations, inventory control / analyst and / or customer service.Must be very detail oriented, have good analytical skills, have excellent communication skills, have excellent data analysis aptitude, and the demonstrated ability of succeeding in a matrix management environment.Must have a positive attitude with focus on teamwork and rapid problem resolution as well as the ability to interact with all levels of management.Must have user's knowledge of system software preferably Oracle and the aptitude to learn new software systems.Ability to frequently lift / carry up to 35lbs. Ability to frequently push / pull up to 35lbs.Preferred :
