Preferred : Experience in a cGMP environment Excellent verbal and written skills Ability to interpret data perform basic calculations and troubleshooting skills The ability to work a 12-hour shift in a 24-hour 7 day per week operation. Meet DEA security clearance requirements if requested. Must be able to work overtime if necessary. Location / Division Specific Information :
As part of the Pharma Services Group (PSG) the High Point NC site focuses on gelatin-based drug delivery dosage forms (softgels). We offer extensive development and commercial scale capabilities for a variety of softgels technologies.
How Will You Make an Impact
The Machine Operator II will be responsible for operating an encapsulating machine to produce products form pre-mixed ingredients insuring proper temperatures machine settings equipment set-ups in process measurements and quality product.
A Day in the Life :
- Manufacture of simple bulk products
- Observes machine operation. Adjust as needed. Takes samples of product and performs in process testing.
- Assists Set-Up person to set up machine empty basket and clean and prepare machine for changeover. Also assists with the actual changeover.
- Assists with cleanup and other Encapsulation duties as needed. May perform other reasonable related business duties.
- Operates inline printing equipment
